[working principle]
When the valve is fully open, the channel of the plug and the valve channel alignment can guarantee the ideal minimum pressure drop. When turning the handwheel, the plug will rotate towards the direction of the valve, and the valve will rotate 90 degrees. When the handwheel is rotated, the plug will be pressed down, the valve opens on both sides, and the valve will close tightly to the seat and close the valve. When the handwheel rotates in the opposite direction, the plug is first moved upward, the valve plate is separated from the seat, and the handwheel is rotated to make the plug drive the valve to rotate 90 degrees. Finally the channel of the plug is aligned to the valve body and the valve is in full open state. The advantage of the plug valve is that the valve and seat are disconnected from the valve during the opening process.
